Stepping into Camere La Carbonaia felt like entering a hidden gem in the heart of Pienza, with its separate private entrance leading to a spacious room that exuded charm and comfort. The warmth of the host, Sara, added an extra layer of hospitality that made us feel right at home, as she not only shared insightful recommendations but also made our check-in a breeze. Despite a slight issue with the lingering smell of weed, which did not detract from the overall stellar experience, our stay was marked by a comfortable bed, a perfect central location, and the generous gesture of allowing us to store our luggage past the usual checkout time. An absolute must for those seeking a delightful retreat in the historical center of Pienza.
